Carlos has kept my Buick running for almost a year now. Everything from replacing the transmission to a simple oil change. Work is done fast the prices are fair. Highly reccomend.

I just visited Mechanics on Duty CB today and it is by far the best car mechanic service I've gotten! Carlos is the man to talk to and express your troubles with your car and he will make sure he give you his 100% attention and will make sure it tends to your needs. It's hard finding a trusty mechanic, one who you can trust with your car and your wallet $$. I went to pep boys a few days ago to see what what wrong with my A/C and they took my car and told me to go wait on the waiting area and an hour later they came back with a paper that had an estimate on what was going on. The guy there told me that my car was in "horrible" shape and that I needed to have a whole new A/C compressor for my car that it was shot and not going to work anymore. So they told me with labor and parts included I would be paying roughly close to $2000! First off I'm a college student and a female. They were going to totally rip me off. So I decided to get another option. I went to Mechanic on Duty CB & Carlos told me there's nothing wrong with the A/C compressor he put freon in my car and test drove it with me in the car and the A/C blew air that registered on the thermometer 45 degrees! It even went down to 39 degrees! He told me If the Compressor was broken it would not pick up the freon it would blow hot air or not blow at all. With freon service and everything included i only paid $80 dollars and my A/C is blowing the coldest it has ever been. If I would have listened to pep boys and paid that crazy price it would have definitely been a rip off. It's a shame they feel the need to rip off college students and females at that. Carlos is a all the way around honest man who honestly cares. I would 100% recommend going to Mechanic on Duty BC & speak with Carlos! Thanks so much again Carlos for everything!

The owner has some of the highest integrity I've seen around. Great guy that went out of his way to explain a few questions and doing a few check ups for free. I'll definitely be back, and recommend to anyone looking for a skilled & down-to-earth mechanic.
